The Yellow Door: Part III is the third and final issue of the second serial of Nathaniel J. Nelson's Seventh Circle, as well as the seventh issue of season one and the seventh issue overall. Plot[]
As promised, Avril Robbins comes by Vinny and Sasha's hotel room for an interview. To their surprise, she reveals that the poltergeist activity has been occurring once a month for as long as she's been working there. Avril recounts her first time witnessing the paranormal activity in the Yellow Door, in October, 2015. She confirms that the poltergeist only appears on "Bean Night" – a once-a-month event where Maggie May makes Avril's grandmother's signature baked bean recipe – something that has never occurred to Avril. Vinny and Sasha celebrate this major clue and prepare to observe the poltergeist.
Maggie begrudgingly agrees to host Bean Night early this month, and Vinny and Sasha observe she and Avril making said beans. When Maggie mentions Avril's grandmother smelling like flowers (Avril previously mentioned the poltergeist giving off a scent of flowers), Vinny and Sasha simultaneously come to the conclusion that the poltergeist is the spirit of Martha Robbins. The activity begins, with Vinny and Sasha witnessing all the implements and tools in the kitchen moving around simultaneously. Avril smells the flowers, and at Vinny's prompting, addresses the invisible spirit as her grandmother, and the spirit seems to recognize her. Vinny and Sasha are ecstatic at their first-ever true paranormal happening.
Seven months later, Avril comes in for her shift at the Yellow Door (whose door Maggie has finally repainted to its original yellow). She brings her mother, Ellie, and enlists her help in preparing the baked beans. As they cook together, Ellie asks Avril if she smells flowers.
