Intro[]
The fun begins at last! After being tested by the mysterious Allegro – actually reclusive loner Taul Bennett – Vinny Howell and Sasha Belanger embark on their first real mission: investigating a haunted restaurant in Locations in Seventh CircleBurlington, Vermont. But they aren’t the first to explore this particular haunting, and their performance here will determine how well they compare to the original SEVENTH CIRCLE…
Plot[]
On February 17, Vinny and Sasha arrive in Burlington, Vermont, and check into their hotel room. They discuss the haunted Yellow Door restaurant, and Vinny reiterates the notes taken by Mark Tenant and Mikey Swanson when the original Seventh Circle investigated the restaurant eight years earlier.
That night after work, Greg gets drinks with coworker Chico, telling him about Vinny and Seventh Circle. Though Chico suggests Greg should be suspicious of Vinny, Greg reminisces on the thrill of chasing Sasha through the woods.
The next morning, Vinny and Sasha stop by The Yellow Door, where they meet the proprietor – an elderly woman named Maggie – and her sole employee, Avril, whose grandmother founded the restaurant. Maggie recalls when the original Seventh Circle investigated them; Vinny and Sasha are caught in a push-pull of idolizing and distrusting the original organization. Vinny and Sasha decide to come back around dinnertime, and admit to themselves that they don't know how to investigate paranormal activity. Avril approaches them, telling them that Tenant and Swanson had scared Maggie, asking them to leave Maggie alone for her own health and promising to tell them everything she knows.
Later that day, Sasha goes for a walk around the University of Vermont campus. Remembering that the smoking age is eighteen outside of Boston, she stops by Mike's Convenience Store and buys a pack, briefly interacting with Mike McMann and a pair of UVM students planning a protest on President Trump's alleged travel ban. Sasha calls her mother and they have a chat. Her mother tells Sasha to ask for help if she needs it, and Sasha refuses: her parents don't know about Seventh Circle, and they don't know that she works at CVS.
