Supernatural entities[]

  • Bearded man – A translucent man with long hair and a beard spotted by Vinny Howell in the Bennett House, during the events of Ignition. Despite the paranormal activity in the house being a ruse by Taul Bennett, this intangible apparition was very much real. The bearded man may have been what scared Danny Thomason away from Taul's house in Pandora: Part V. Jack Harrison saw the bearded man after breaking into Taul's house in Weeping Willow. In Lady of the Lake, it was revealed that the bearded man was the spirit of Taul's father, Abraham Bennett, who killed himself when Taul was young.
  • Erdos – A demonic entity that possessed Mike Wells in 2017. Summoned by drawing the Erdos rune on one's arm and speaking the words of a specific ritual.[40]
  • El Fantasma – A serial killer in the Southwest who murders, apparently at random, with a splitting maul. El Fantasma is known for wearing a Day of the Dead mask. Users of paraGhost debate whether he is supernatural, or a simple murderer.
  • Mackenzie Weaver – A teenage girl who killed several classmates with a cutlass before being shot by the police, Mackenzie is a major topic among paranormal enthusiast circles, as she was said to come back as a vengeful revenant.
  • Martha Robbins – The founder of The Yellow Door in Burlington, Vermont, and grandmother of Avril Robbins, Martha returned as poltergeist after her death, haunting the restaurant every time the staff made her signature baked beans dish. Martha would clatter dishes and silverware, but not hurt anyone. Her identity was determined by Seventh Circle, and Avril learned to somewhat communicate with her deceased grandmother. Referred to in the Howell Manifest as the "Burlington Poltergeist."
  • The Silent Man – A bearded serial killer appearing in the opening scene of Summer: Part I, the Silent Man is apparently able to supernaturally muffle all sounds emanating from his body.[41] The Silent Man later appears in Glenboro, Manitoba, at an "unknown date," preparing to kill another family in their sleep; he is talked down by the Blue Woman, much to his chagrin.[42]
  • The Scarred Man – A presumably-supernatural man with deep scars and pocks all over his body, the Scarred Man confronts the Silent Man in Summer: Part I, informing him that the Jadūrah Order are on his tail.
  • An unidentified ghostly woman appeared to Seventh Circle beneath Danvers State Hospital and led them to the Grey Gables; this spirit may have belonged to Mary Abel, or been a composite spirit of all the nurses killed by Gregory Abel
  • Eddie Barbara – The founder of Rock-On Rooster's Chicken House, Barbara committed suicide and split his organs and soul between the four Roswell Rocker animatronics, as well as inserting his own brain into his own skeleton (contained within a portrait animatronic), which allowed him to remotely control the others. Barbara led the animatronics and Hank Argon to kill innocent victims, whose bodies Barbara would use to construct a new body for himself, the flesh attaching over an animatronic's innerworkings. Barbara was killed again by Hank Argon in the summer of 2018, having decided against allowing him to kill Seventh Circle. Barbara's skeleton choked Argon to death, but not before Argon killed Barbara by stabbing his brain with a dagger, later revealed to be made from Barbara's own bones. It is implied that Barbara's missing heart was inserted into the dormant animatronic Cradle the Cat, and that Cradle would later become autonomous.
  • Billie Jean Summers – A former human prima donna at Boston's C–– Theater, Billie Jean Summers apparently gave up her humanity to become an insect-like parasite that would live in the trachea of her successors, convincing them that she was giving them preternatural singing abilities. After leaving the body of Aditi Badami, and killing her in the process, the whereabouts of Billie Jean Summers are unknown.[43]

Mentioned[]

  • Often
    • Mark Tenant
    • Isaac Parry – Though Vinny doesn't remember his name – or the fact that he was the first one to tell him about Seventh Circle – he recalls the Erogrendel tritagonist as a former regular at The Inferno Club.
  • Possession
    • Billy Clubb – An alcoholic student who was continually haunted by a ghost on his way home from school. In 1977, this haunting was investigated by Kurt Bachman, paving the way for him to found Seventh Circle later that year. On Seventh Circle's defunct website, Billy Clubb is considered the organization's first case. Billy is represented in Taul Bennett's notes on Seventh Circle.[44]
    • Kyle Wells – Older brother of Mike Wells, responsible for posting about Mike's possession on paraGhost under Mike's username.
    • Unnamed father of Mike and Kyle Wells, ex-husband of Susan Wells who apparently left her for a younger woman.
    • Father Callahan – An Irish-Catholic priest in Saugatuck, Michigan, apparently a former classmate of Susan Wells and a social outcast in high school. Father Callahan claimed he couldn't help Mike Wells in his allegedly possessed state.
  • Pandora
    • Black Mary – An unseen former associate of Bernadette Bennet and fellow member of the Jadhūrah Order, mentioned in Taul Bennett's extensive files. • Post-Mortem
    • Michael – Vinny's South Boston landlord.
    • Sam Lewis – An old classmate of Sasha Belanger's, known in high school for wearing a "stupid yellow hat."[46] Sam hosted a party for his old classmates in Post-Mortem: Part II, attended by Sasha, Adam Hoffman, and others.
    • The Blue Woman – An unknown woman mentioned by Vinny, as the narrator, in the flashforward sequence in Post-Mortem: Part II; apparently known for coming and going on a whim.[47] The Blue Woman later appears at an "unknown time" to confront the Silent Man in Glenboro, Manitoba, convincing him not to kill his current target family.[48]
    • Raleigh – Someone apparently on Seventh Circle's payroll by 2020, as seen in Post-Mortem: Part I's flashforward scene.
    • Black-haired woman – A woman with black hair, wearing a black surgical mask, who has apparently appeared to Vinny several times by 2020, according to Post-Mortem: Part I's flashforward scene.
  • Limelight
    • Cole Davis – The first host of the parasitic Billie Jean Summers, Davis was handed the prima donna role by Summers prior to her evolution beyond her humanity. At some point, Billie Jean Summers entered Davis's body; Davis died when Billie Jean Summers left her for Melody Jericho in 1954.[51]
    • Heather Langley – The host of Billie Jean Summers following Darcy Morgan and preceding Charlotte Wonder. Heather Langley assumed the prima donna position, and Billie Jean Summers, in 1982, and died when Billie Jean Summers left her for Charlotte Wonder in 1999.[52]

Charlotte Wonder assumed the prima donna position, and Billie Jean Summers, in 1999, and died when Billie Jean Summers left her for Mimi Stevens in 2009. "Charlotte Wonder" was a stage name.[53]
  • Senior Year: Part II
    • Filthy Bobby – A friend and classmate of Jake Dean's, known for prank calling Seline Howard
